The Travel Consultant (TC) is the primary point of contact for the customer and provides
active travel consultation, from the beginning of the organization process to the end of
the trip, passing through the active phase of creating and selling the trip, and being
available 24/7 while the clients are abroad.
The TC:
– responsible for accurately, efficiently and timely handling incoming requests via
multiple channels (i.e. phone, email, online, etc.).
– Works independently on the travel request
– Takes the initiative to provide assistance to team members and management
as requested.
– Provides the customer with the required industry information, such as low fares,
exchange costs and penalties
How can you set yourself apart

• Minimum of 2 plus years’ experience in the travel management industry
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Multilingual preferred (Italian speaker a plus)
• Positive and bright attitude
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures and
processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work independently, exercising discretion and judgment
• Demonstrated excellent professional customer service and problem
resolution skills
• Strong problem solving and/or critical thinking skills
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
