Gilbert Pizza Festival

The inaugural Gilbert Pizza Festival was scheduled for March 21, 2020, but we all know what happened then. In response to the Coronavirus pandemic, we postponed the festival to 2021. Then, we had to do it again. Then, in 2022, we learned that the park we envision the pizza festival at is under construction. So, we’re targeting March 18, 2023. We will keep you posted here, on our website at www.gilbertpizzafest.com, and on social media channels for official word. The Pizza Party must go on!

Ticket holders can either hold onto their ticket for the rescheduled date, or email dave@phxfest.com for a refund.

When it takes place, the Gilbert Pizza Festival will take over Gilbert’s Civic Center park from 11am to 5pm, celebrating the world’s favorite food (yes, we asked everyone) – pizza! Festival goers can devour $2-$4 slices of pizza from about 15 of the best local pizza makers.

Other festival highlights will include local craft beer, wine, live music, lawn games, a kid’s zone with pizza-making crafts, and those unbeatable Arizona springtime vibes. Also, don’t miss our incredible dessert vendors!

Food vendors will accept cash and sometimes credit. Drinks are cash only. ATMs will be on-site.

Tickets are $10 online in advance and will most likely sell out. Kids 12 and under are free. Dogs under 25lbs, on a leash, are allowed. If the event has not sold out, they will be $15 at the gate until sold out.

The Gilbert Pizza Festival proudly supports The Honey Foundation, a charity organization that works to teach kids the importance of kindness. With their unique Kindness Education Programs in schools, they seek to make the world a better place by teaching kids to track random acts of kindness.

Check out our next festival, FRIED, a French Fry & Music Festival, on April 18, 2020, at Margaret T. Hance Park in Downtown Phoenix! Approximately 20 chefs and food trucks will offer $2-$3 samples of their mind-blowing French fry creations in a festival full of great indie rock and many of the festival activities found at the Pizza Festival.
